It started with a daydream.
“Wouldn’t it be cool if we opened our own place someday?”
Lou and Kaelin, both Pisces suns and avid daydreamers, have a habit of fantasizing. That’s how the vision of Violet Moon was conceived in the first place - it began as a fantasy spoken aloud at a picnic table on a sunny Fall day. At the time, they expected their fantasy would be years in the making - rather than just a few months away.
The Vision
Lou envisioned a wellness center: a one stop shop for anyone in need of physical, emotional, and spiritual maintenance. Lou is a psychic medium and energy healer, and Kaelin is a master behind the salon chair as well as a gifted intuitive herself. When the opportunity to blend their services presented itself, neither wanted to pass it up.
They found the Highlands House in the Spring of 2023. It wasn’t exactly “move-in ready” when they took it over, so they spent months flipping the aesthetic to achieve the vibe. Lou laid new floors, Kaelin painted walls, they changed light fixtures, and demo’d entire rooms.
The Result
By the time The Shop had its Grand Opening in September, the team had expanded to include Alexis, Lara, and Megan - all offering their services and elevating the vibe.
The team will continue to evolve, and the space will constantly change with the seasons. Still, the vision will remain constant - for The Shop to be a healing space to all that enter.
